What is Total Wealth View?
Total Wealth View is the asset aggregation functionality that allows you to conveniently view your accounts at other financial institutions via your E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley account.
Why should I add my external accounts to E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley?
Adding external accounts allow a better overview of your financial portfolio, giving you increased visibility into your assets and liabilities all in one place. The more you add, the more accurate your financial picture will be.
Is it safe to add my external accounts?
We work with Yodlee—a market leader in financial data connectivity—to protect your financial information. We set up and manage the secure connections between your chosen institutions and Yodlee. The aggregation service is read-only, meaning that data can be read but no transactions or updates can occur at E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley. Is there a fee associated with adding my external accounts?
We do not charge a fee to use the Total Wealth View tool.
Does adding my external accounts via Total Wealth View allow for fund transfers?
Total Wealth View is a view-only tool and cannot be used for fund transfers. To transfer funds, please visit External Funding Accounts.
What types of external accounts can I add?
You can add assets such as savings and brokerage accounts, as well as residential properties you may own. You can also add liabilities such as credit cards and loans.
Can I add visibility into my other Morgan Stanley accounts?
Yes. If you have Morgan Stanley full-service accounts and a separate Morgan Stanley Online login, you can enable Account Visibility.
Please note that the Account Visibility functionality is separate from Total Wealth View.
Why do I have limited capabilities on the Mobile app?
External accounts on the Mobile app are currently read-only. We are working towards expanding the available features for Mobile users. For access to full capabilities, right now you should use our E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley desktop platform.
